Lionhead - Pictures | My Injuries

Diameter: ~3in/7.62cm
Weight: ~2.6lbs/1.08kg

I got Lionhead from a friend who said that he couldn't keep her because he and his wife were moving into a studio apartment. I felt bad for him cause he had had a Boa for 17 years and then it died. Then later, he got an iguana and now he has to give it away. :-{ Well I am happy though because I finally got my own iguana, and my parents couldn't very well say return her? to where, heehee. Well I am glad to have Lionhead, she is beautiful and seems very happy. She is definitely the avid explorer, she does nothing but want to take a nice look around. I drove down to the video store to rent Mission Impossible, since at the time I could hardly wait for MI2 to come out, and wouldn't you know she crawls off of my shoulder as I am driving and climbs onto the door and looks out the window, oh I wish I could have gotten a picture of that! :-} As of right now she is sitting on my bed eating her food, and closing her eyes as if tired? nah! I am the late bird not her :-}

Died: 11-2-02
Lionhead was getting very ill from primarily kidney disease and other things. I had to have her put to sleep at the vet on Sat. She was the coolest pet I have ever had and I will miss her dearly. :'-{ On a side(good) note, they are going to do an autopsy which should be helpful for the next time I ever get another iguana. It appears that her eggs had also ruptured inside her body and were rotting, slowly killing her. Now I know that its about 50/50 that female iguanas will pass their eggs through around 3 years old, otherwise they must be surgically removed which costs around $500.

Mr.G - Pictures

Classification: Green Day Gecko
Sex: Male
Age: ~5 months
Length: ~6in/15.24cm

Purchased: 10-13-01
I got Mr.G at Nui Kai for $60. It is very bright green with red lines under the eyes and short red lines on its lower back. I am not sure if it is male or female yet. But it will grow to ~9in. total length.

Died: 3-24-02
Unfortunately my cool little gecko died recently and as I am very sad I hoped it went painless, but I doubt it. Cause of death appeared to have been an epileptic seizure from MBD. All crickets contained calcium powder, but I failed to provide a UVB source.

Mace - Pictures

Classification: Bearded Dragon
Sex: Male
Age: ~7 years & 1 month
Length: ~17in/43.18cm

Purchased: 9-3-02
Well I got a bearded dragon today, they are supposed to be really cool pets and so far I am happy. Its an expensive little bugger weighing in at $70! But its really cool and you can hold it and it will stay still lol. Well for the most part, but put it down and it will start exploring. Mace has gone through his first 'winter shutdown' and for about 4 months afterwards he was always mad about something and was difficult to handle. Thankfully with some patience and some time, he's back to his old self again and I take him out regularly and feed him by hand often.

Died: Still living, given to a good home on 10-9-09 so that he is no longer neglected as I have had no time for pets.
